How the System Works
Our system has two components that get installed.
- •The Oxidation Unit kills and breaks down contaminants in the water which then float to the water surface.
- •The Mehudar Filter then collects and removes the floating contaminants.
Together, they ensure that your mikva water is of the highest possible quality and clarity at all times.
Oxidation Unit
The Oxidation Unit ensures consistent and complete water health. This advanced oxidation device kills bacteria and pathogens, breaks down dissolved organic matter in the water, and reduces toxic by-products of chlorine.
This proprietary technology was developed in collaboration with the Israel Innovation Authority and a team of water and environmental engineers from leading Israeli universities. Mehudar Filter
Our Mehudar Filter is installed in the bor tevila. The Filter collects and removes the floating contaminants broken down by the Oxidation Unit.
The filter is a proprietary MikvaTech device that outperforms any alternative, providing crystal-clear water by removing contaminants and dirt as small as 20 microns.
Unlike older filters, the MikvaTech filter operates with a BLDC electric underwater motor and impeller, with no carbon brushes or consumable parts.
Because the filter operates without an external motor or additional shafts, it is more aesthetically pleasing, quieter, and takes up less space in the bor tevila.
As an easy plug-n-play installation, the filter can easily be removed from the bor tevila if required.
With a chibur shfoferes hanod throughout the entire filter body, the filter is also significantly more mehudar than any other mikva filter today.
